End an emergency

When the evacuation or drill is over, a leader ends the emergency to take every class out of emergency mode and return the school to normal attendance.

Note: Ending an emergency is leader-only — it needs the emergency deactivate permission. Coordinators can see the live muster data but can't stand the incident down, so if the button isn't available to you, ask a leader to end it.

  1. Click Turn off emergency protocol

    With an emergency active, the Turn off emergency protocol button sits in the top app toolbar and on the Emergency coordinator page. Click it from either place.

  2. Confirm in the dialog

    The Turn off emergency protocol dialog opens. Confirm to end the emergency for the whole school.

  3. Check the confirmation

    A confirmation toast with a timestamp tells you the emergency has ended. Every class returns to its normal roll, and the emergency-coordinator and muster-coordinator pages close.
